40 / 20:
Today we added 1210 games made with 47 different engines to our list. See more in our list "Games of the week". In total our 40/20 list is based now on 386.652 games.
New engines:
We have just started with Deep Fritz 12: With 4CPUs the engine reached 3074 elos in 140 games. This is a good start with +55 to Deep Fritz 11.
Umko 0.7 x64 has had a good start too: 2747 elos in 180 games!
Arasan 11.7 x64 1CPU has had a good start against Critter 0.40 - but lost a lot of more games against the other opponents compared to version 11.6. So it seems there is no progress: 2560 Elos in 352 games are 19 points behind version 11.6 now.

New engines
New in the list is Stockfish 1.6.3 x64 4CPU with 3140 elo/ 800 games. This is very close to version 1.6 - maybe there is really no difference in strength.
Another new entry is Twisted Logic 20100131x x64 with 2803 elos in 1000 games and here too only a few points ahead of previous version.
A very good start has had Umko 0.7 here too in our Blitz list. The engine makes no more problems and reached 2755 elos for 64bit and 2678 elos for 32bit-version.
Arasan was tested in 2 new versions:
Arasan 11.7 x64 1CPU with 2600 elos in 1000 games and
Arasan 11.3 w32 1CPU with 2471 elos in 500 games.
We also started to test Philou 3.1.0: 2460/360 games - around 100 points better than version 2.8.0 in our list.
