Sure. It does not discriminate against guests. Only participants need a registered account, because the mamer TM bot requests ratings of player from the ICS, and only joins them to a tourney if the rating is in the requested range. But if the command to request it is used on a guest, no rating is returned, and the player is not joined.
Of course this could also be changed by reprogramming mamer, but I like to run the tourneys with rated games. And when two guests play each othe, the games will not be kept on the ICS after they log out.
Like on FICS, guests can login onder any name that is not already in use. (But hardly anyone seems to know that, so they all login as GuestXYZT, or crap like that...)

i think arasan had played with 4 threads
ok, anyway, this tournament was with unequal hardwares and with some suprises today, dirty/buzz got a draw vs rybka and i had with my Tornado lucky that a draw position blundered from chessthinker i got a win
but suprised that i losed vs dirty, yeah that was really a funny tournament for me
)

I've never been gone. But a 9-round event doesn't mean a whole lot IMHO, just a fun thing to do more than anything.
