Stockfish gradually is closing the gap with the strongest engine. Earlier Stockfish version 1.7 lost with 31-19

It only shows that if you repeat the same match twice you can get different results.

Stockfish1.7.1 and Stockfish1.7 produce the same analysis.

You are right, so I read on Ingo Bauer's site.
So than 1.7 and 1.7.1 are - most probably - both 50 ELO points better than 1.6.3
