I looked at the webpage. But nothing tells me that these icc accounts are free. Yes it says free trial account but I don't trust trial accounts. Might be part of an overly aggressive marketing strategy who knows. Computer chess is already a too expensive hobby for me in respect of electricity and time spent on it.

By the way five minutes games have almost same outcome as fifteen or thirty minutes games. Maybe it is easier for humans to follow these games.

You could probably run the server on something like a Raspberry PI. If you are on internet that gives you a changeable IP (like U.S. cable), http://noip.com/ will give you a fixed IP for clients.
