XBoard for Mac: failure to clear target indicators

I had set up XBoard with two different engines, but started the game with a move input manually. At some point before I had the two programs complete the game on their own, I had selected the white knight on square g1 and so the target indicator yellow circles appeared on squares f3 and h3. And they didn't go away, staying for the entire game.
