I also have a Xiaomi device, and it was the best given how much I paid. The other one I had from Samsung similar priced, could barely move.

No comparison at similar prices. Xiaomi simply rocks. After my girlfriend casually bought Xiaomi Redmi 3, and I tried it a bit, I went quickly for this Redmi Note 4, which runs excellently. there is the Lenovo Moto Z, a very very thin phone with
5.5 " 2K Display. its maybe 5 mm thin.
the idea behind is that you can add mods to the phone,
e.g. a second battery or Sound loudspeaker.

I have tried an android emulator on windows and I have been quite impressed.
Leapdroid is simple to install and run.
I installed the latest version of Droidfish and (with 16 MB hash):
1 thread --> nps: 501k
2 thread --> nps: 927k
4 thread --> nps: 1307k

If you are using Remix OS then it's not an emulator at all. It's Android running natively on your PC.

I used Leapdroid (it run on a virtualbox machine), by default uses 2 Gb of RAM and 3 processors of my AMD_FX-6100. I think it emulates x86 and ARM, but I'm not sure. This project is finished and there will be no more versions.
It is a download of less than 300 Mb, easy installation and seems as a tablet with android.
I now tested RemixOS 3.0 64 bit, I did it using a virtualbox machine with the same conditions.

The only interesting chipset to test is the Kirin 960 of Huawei Mate9. It uses Cortex A73 which has 64/64 data and instruction L1 caches.
