I'm looking for a GUI with which I can let two engines play against each other from a certain position. With Fritz this has only been done automatically for one or more games since several fritz versions.
I would rather choose and engine within a game to play against another engine for several moves.
Does anyone have a tip?
Thanks a lot!

Many chess GUIs allow starting all tournament games from a given FEN or SAN moves or using opening books in PGN or EPD format.jumapari wrote: ↑Wed Dec 23, 2020 10:29 pm I'm looking for a GUI with which I can let two engines play against each other from a certain position. If a GUI allows FEN or SAN moves, just set it and all are done. If it allows using PGN or EPD opening, create your own PGN or EPD opening with only 1 game of the opening you want.

With WinBoard you can just start the GUI selecting the engines from the startup dialog, paste in the FEN of the position, and hit 'Two Machines' in the Mode menu.
