Just download the install.bat then put it in your directory before you run it then it will automatically install according to your system. After the installation, you run scorpio.bat if it's working before you install in in a GUI.

Re: FCP Tourney-2022 ...
Hi Krzysztof,
I will try out this but later ...
To many things to do (private work) and for the moment I am happy that FCP Tourney-2022 is still running.
I invested more as 8 hours last year in Scorpio.
The problem is, that with a batch file the engine can't load under Shredder GUI with NN file and the the own endgame bases.
I gave the programmer of Scorpio all the information by mail.
Generally, to start an engine with a batch file isn't the best way and to complicated.
The programmer of Shredder wrote me, that the problem can be solved with a network configuration.
But here I am out because it's to many work for an engine configuration.
I can't understand the decision by the programmer of Scorpio to create such a complicated engine configuration.
*.ini file and *.exe file should be possible for Scorpio (without the batch file).
With Arena GUI a configuration is possible.
But since I gave up my work with Martin Blume I never installed Arena (included are all my ideas) on my harddisk and I am using since this time Shredder GUI only.
Best
Frank

Re: FCP Tourney-2022 ...
Hi there,
I made a mistake in my configuration.
Fritz 16 (Rybka) is since a while not in TOP-40.
I switched from Fritz 16 (Rybka) to Combusken 1.4.0.
Sorry!
Furthermore, the Elo average is with 3190 to high.
I changed that to 3175 (Shredder 12 should have around 3125, same as in my last FCP Tourney).
Possible that I must changed that with more games during the tournament again.
First statistic download I will create with Klaus after Round 4.

Re: FCP Tourney-2022 ...
Hm,
I saw that Jon Dart released Arasan 23.1 before tournemant start.
Shit, shit, shit ... not saw that!
I have to changed Arasan 23.0.1 to 23.1 in my tournament.
Will do it later this evening after replaying the games with Combusken 1.4.0.

Re: FCP Tourney-2022 ...
Hi there,
a short view to the 3.200 games from Wasp 4.65 NN Modern x64 test-run!
Hint:
The Wasp 4.66 NN version participate in FCP Tourney-2022 is a little bit stronger as Wasp 4.65 NN, Information by John.
https://www.amateurschach.de/fling/test ... y-2022.sto (Shredder GUI tourney file)
https://www.amateurschach.de/fling/test ... -2022.html (Shredder GUI tournament table)
https://www.amateurschach.de/fling/test ... y-2022.pgn (Shredder GUI PGN file)
In my opinion is Wasp one of the most aggressive engines with many pieces on board.
Can be see in FCP Tourney-2021 statistics by Klaus Wlotzka!!
In my test-run Wasp 4.65 NN Modern x64 made vs. TOP-40 = 42,58%
Should be clear that an engine with such an statistic should have clearly more fast lost as fast won games.
Here the reality:
Games until 50 moves to mate (games without resign):
With white pieces:
won = 25
lost = 2
With black pieces:
won = 12
lost = 8
= 37x won, 10x lost ... with 42,58% !!!
Games until 60 moves to mate (games without resign):
With white pieces:
won = 60
lost = 12
With black pieces:
won = 30
lost = 35
= 90x won, 47x lost ... with 42,58%!!!
I made some other stats and find out that the new NN version from Wasp is much more aggressively with many pieces on board as Wasp 4.50 without NN. Wasp hold the fantastic own playing style.

Hi there,
the next mistake by myself.
Arasan 23.1 released before tournament start.
I replaced Arasan 23.01 with Arasan 23.1.
Currently ... the games will be replayed.
Sorry!
