Hi there,
I sent Morgan Houppin a short information via TalkChess private message.
I would like to see the current Stash in my tourney ... a big wish by myself!!
The programmer do a lot after all I understand on his github page.
Morgan sent me a BMI2 compile.
Unclear for the moment ... should I used the BMI2 compile on AMD Ryzen 9 5950x too.
I send him a short information and wait of his answer!
Means, the tourney will be changed again ...
The last Stash dev. will be play.
A wish my myself and a great news for today.
But again, if other programmers like to update the engine ...
Engine updates are possible until November 21st, 2021 (23:45).
Best
Frank

Re: FCP Tourney-2022 ...
Hi there,
A good idea to added the dev. version of Stash in the tourney!!
Seems to be stronger!!
Good work again!
Thanks Morgan again!
Different changes for today / tomorrow:
1. I found Igel 3.0.10 here:
https://www.chess2u.com/t17705-igel-3-0-10 (if I looking on github it seems the last version).
2. The programmer of Seer sent a dev. version for my tourney.
At the moment I stopped the still running matches and waiting for the end of the games.
Need a while.
Igel and Seer will be replaced at first in 2 hours.
---
3. Zahak 8.x dev.
The programmer of Zahak will be send a new version in the next 1-2 days.
Again improved and it seems the programmer is working very hard here.
4. Nemorino 6.x dev.
The programmer of Nemorino will be send a new version in the next 1-2 days.
I asked him via PM in TalkChess!
The older Zahak and Nemorino versions will be replaced after Igel & Seer is done with replaying games.
---
Wow, the tourney become a monster Elo average!!
Category 38 or 39 I think.
Amazing!!
Thanks to all programmers for help to create such a strong tourney!!

Re: FCP Tourney-2022 ...
Hi there,
at the moment I am working on my webpage ...
I fixed yesterday a lot of small mistakes (my bad English, bad *.html code).
My English will be not better but I think it's good enough.
Here again all important links to my tournament:
1. The detail page (here can be found all the news around the tourney, later the *.zip file with all stats from Klaus and my *txt statistic files). Statistics will be start during round 7 is still running. For the moment it make no sense ... to many updates!
Detail page:
https://www.amateurschach.de/main/_fcp-tourney-2022.htm
2. The configuration page ... here I added information to the configuration (Shredder *.eng files, pics from UCI settings) and other important information I collected. For hints to mistakes I will be happy.
Configuration page:
https://www.amateurschach.de/main/_conf ... n-2022.htm
3. The work by Norman Schmidt
Here you can follow the "live-games".
Norman used pgn4web.
Live games "move-by-move" is with Shredder GUI not possible in tournament mode. Yesterday sent Stefan Meyer-Kahlen the information.
More we can't do if Shredder GUI used.
Live-Games:
https://www.amateurschach.de/fling/index.html
And the important three files from the Shredder GUI:
1. LIVE *.html tournament-table:
https://www.amateurschach.de/fling/fcp- ... -2022.html
2. LIVE *.sto tournament-organizational-file
https://www.amateurschach.de/fling/fcp-tourney-2022.sto
3. LIVE *.pgn
https://www.amateurschach.de/fling/fcp-tourney-2022.pgn
OK ...
From my point of view all will be much more interesting during round 7 ...
if we are working on the statistics "round-by-round" ... think so, hope so.
An other way is to looking on my webpage:
Frank's Chess Page
https://www.amateurschach.de ... the important information can be found directly!

Re: FCP Tourney-2022 ...
Hi there,
Seer 2.4.0 and Igel 3.0.10 are still running now.
Both engines must replay around 220 games.
535 games per day (1:20 hour per game, 32 cores used) ...
440 games need a while before I can replace the newer Nemorino & Zahak versions with the older versions.
Go Seer go ...
Go Igel go ...

Best
Frank
Updates on configuration site need a while (will be ready in one hour).

Re: FCP Tourney-2022 ...
Hi there,
I stopped the still running 32 matches "st and enter, Shredder GUI".
Need 1-2 hours until the 32 games are over.
And the last two updates can be add:
1. Nemorino 6.09 (thanks Christian for your interest and the compiles you sent).
2. Zahak 8.6 (thanks Amanj again for your interest, the hard work you do in the last days and the compiles you sent).
An higher Elo average will help all other programmers to find mistakes in the programs.
A very nice field was born!
After my time calculation the tournament will be still running until January 31st, 2022.
Without resign mode the move average is 1.5 moves higher as in the tourney before (FCP Tourney-2021), around 88-89 moves. Elo average for TOP-41 will be around 80-90 Elo higer as in the tourney before ... in 10,5 months only!!!
The performance for Igel and Seer seems to be clearly better, great!!
Later ...
Have to work on the Zahak and Nemorino configurations!

Best
Frank

Re: FCP Tourney-2022 ...
I forgot.
So nice, not 1 engine make trouble here.
All runs wonderful without any problems.
The older problems from Minic solved ...
Rybka no longer in TOP-41 ... good, because from time to time the engine produced a time-out (seems to be the endgame databases)
From time to time Chiron 4 produced the time-out problem and GUI to nothing ...
All is solved!
Minic and Chiron ... technical gods!!
So I must nothing do if the tournament is still running via Network on three PCs.
I am the problem only if my configuration or network not working.
