THAT'S OK.. I'm also testing KAYRA 1.4 5-5 until now against ProteusSF RBE 008a + Eduard Nemeth's Predator 2.2 :D

@Ghppn your are always welcome here: https://banksiagui.com/forums/viewtopic.php?p=132#p132

Hi Gheorghe!

Looking for the truth (I'm searching to get real and fair results but it's really difficult :) ) I've started using sequentially first 150 Pohl's UHO_2022_8mvs_big_+100_+129 and increased the number of games to 300 for each match (TC 3 mins + 2 secs Tablebases 6 man 8 CPUs 6.5 Mn/s on Mac M1) It would be interesting if you too could repeat the match against Kayra 1.3 (that I like a lot!) .. until now +0 merging our results. On the bottom you find the benchmarks of our 2 systems: mine is 2 times faster, but your TC is double, so the comparative is almost perfect :D

First good not complete new results:

Whats new in UHO 2022:
The UHO 2022 opening sets, are filtered out of the Megabase 2022 (by ChessBase). And the only filter, I am using, is the eval of KomodoDragon 2.6 in the endposition of each opening-line. (UHO V3 used Megabase 2020 and KomodoDragon 1.0 for evaluating). And the UHO 2022 files are around +10% bigger than the UHO V3 files, because the Megabase 2022 contains more games than the Megabase 2020, of course.

Hi Alex!
First of all, I apologize for the delay in answering you. I'm currently very busy with other things, but I'm not too active on this forum either because my posts are of no interest to anyone but you and Mehmet.
What you're doing with the Proteus engine is hellish work, and I can't do that. The tests I do are in order to identify the best engines for analysis. I'm not necessarily looking for unbalanced positions, but I'm trying to do tests with fast time control, even if I use a smaller number of games. The best engines for correspondence players are those with the learning function, with the experience file. Now, among them is your Proteus engine, which makes me very happy.
But there are two very powerful engines, without this function, which I must take into account: Kayra and CorChess. But soon I think that these engines will be equipped with this function. This is the future. Honor Khalid Omar!
As you can see, our goals are very different, but we have one thing in common, testing. So we will always meet on chess forums.
Congratulations on the great work you put into chess and I wish you continued success!
I am currently working on a ProteusSF-RBE-008a test - Kayra 1.4, 100 games at 5m + 2s. After 24 games, Kayra 1.4 is 4-3.

Thank you!
Very interesting because it is based on TCEC 22 instead of Predator 2.2 on ProteusTournBook where I score much better and you are a reliable tester. Could you give me also TCEC 22.pgn link? I'm waiting dorsz DOTS5 to test other unbalanced positions, so your anticipation of TCEC 22 results is very useful. Kayra is really good!

TOP ENGINES - 3 MINS + 2 SECS / ALL -
TABLEBASES 6 MAN ON MAC M1 - 6 MN/s -
USING PREDATOR 2.2.BIN +1.5 OVER KAYRA 1.4 + KAYRA 1.1 BIN

Image

ALL 450 PGN GAMES: https://pixeldrain.com/u/JKuEAX2c

Note: Using Eduard Nemeth's book has better results than with TCEC 22 Jeroen Noomen select positions, at least against Kayra 1.4. Next test will be with DOTS5 UNBALANCED Openings Test Suite to double check that with more positions (+-400).

Are you also on Chess2U? I've confirmed your Kayra 1.4 results, +5

https://www.chess2u.com/t18062p25-kayra-tests

but now repeating games after learning 14-14 / 100 until now. @Mehmet123 You should add it also to your next wonderful Kayra 1.5
