Hello everyone,
I have playing in lichess quite often recently and I'm impressed with this platform which is very efficient. I've been playing with Lichess BOT's of various chess engines, and it's very entertaining to get to play them. Even though some of the engines are rated about the same, they are vastly different in the playing style which is what makes me astounded with computer chess, and makes me want to get back to playing against chess engine all over again, after a long gap.
Is there a site that has relevant information about chess engines which are present in lichess? If there's no such site, perhaps we can post it in this thread and keep it updated, and maybe I will add them on to a newly created page in google sites. If this has been posted before, I apologize for creating a duplicate thread.

Currently tends to unrealistically give away queenside pawns for space (tuning problem)

Usually the latest dev branch is installed, running of 4 threads. But if the community so desires, I can create a different account for one of the available skill levels (between 1 to 7, 1 being the weakest)

The account is usually running a recent development version with 1 or 2 threads. Uptime is sometimes spotty (since I'm just running it on a laptop).
I cannot praise Lichess enough – absolutely top quality, free in every sense, kind to developers, transparent, and on and on. I'd strongly recommend donating if you make use of the service and can afford to do so.

You can use your mouse and click on the bots team and list them yourself.

Should be up most of the time. Small leela style nets with low nodes. Not very “computer-like” in their play.
I’ve had some unpleasant exchanges with some admins about abuse in their forums. But if you avoid the weak points of these free online services — cheaters, trolls and bullying — it’s ok.
Fat Titz by Stockfish, the engine with the bodaciously big net. Remember: size matters. If you want to learn more about this engine just google for "Fat Titz".

Inspired by this thread I have setup a bot for Leorik 2.0 now. Please let me know if it doesn't work, I never ran a bot on lichess before.

On my side it started to spam exceptions looking like this:op12no2 wrote: ↑Sat Mar 12, 2022 7:14 pmSeems fine...lithander wrote: ↑Sat Mar 12, 2022 7:08 pm Inspired by this thread I have setup a bot for Leorik 2.0 now. Please let me know if it doesn't work, I never ran a bot on lichess before.

Code: Select all
ValueError: illegal uci: 'c7d6' in 8/P1k5/6p1/5p2/5P1P/7P/5K2/8 w - - 0 90
exception parsing pv from info: 'depth 17 score cp 2019 nodes 564060 nps 2892615 time 195 pv a7a8Q c7d6 a8g2 d6c5 g2g6 c5c4 g6f5 c4b3 f5e5 b3a2 f4f5 a2b3 f5f6 b3b4 f6f7 b4b3 f7f8Q', position at root: 8/P1k5/6p1/5p2/5P1P/7P/5K2/8 w - - 0 90[fen]8/P1k5/6p1/5p2/5P1P/7P/5K2/8 w - - 0 90[/fen]
And a7a8Q followed by c7d6 seems fine. Why is c7d6 illegal? Or what is the error about?
Edit: Might the problem be that the Q is capitalized?
