I wonder if somebody can analyze all the possible DFRC position for 1 second to find what are the positions with the biggest advantage for white and for black and if there is a tool that can do it automatically.
DFRC means that not only white initial position is random with 960 possibilities but also black's position is random and usually is not the same as white
so there are 960*960 possible positions.
What is the biggest advantage white has in DFRC?

I guess you've just seen the latest two Stockfish development version upgrades! Took me a
while to figure out what DFRC meant.
With this there's a lot of extra information that can go into training, that wouldn't be seen
in games from the standard initial position. I really hope they can consider training a main
or supplementary net for FRC/DFRC with 50% or 100% more size just to see what happens.

Assuming those are evals by some recent SF version, the eval needed for a theoretically winning advantage in the opening is something like 1.3 or so, depending on the exact version. It doesn't make much sense to use initial positions that are pretty clearly winning for one side. But regular FRC positions never come close to the winning margin, as far as I know. Perhaps there is some other rule that would generate FRC positions closer to the win/draw line than normal FRC but without going too far as DFRC apparently does. Something to think about.Modern Times wrote: ↑Wed Jul 06, 2022 12:45 pm The TCEC team I think it was already did that, it is available. +3.59 down to -2.43
