Andreas,

know you chance is higher for the membership.

:-)

It's danger what I do ...
Quickly others feel attacked, I know that.

But most here know me since many years.
Nothing is in my mind what is bad.
All what I do in the past would then be counterproductive!

In each of the programs the developer give time and energy. Most are free available and each of the work is important for computer chess history. No doubt about it. But often a wrong way is to observe. A good example are nonsensical move-chains with the final result of very long draw-games nobody like to see.

I like it if every engine have an own face in times so many strong engines are available. That is most important if programmers can tell me what is the advantage from here own program. People like to read that, because most of us have not the time to test all available engines. And the programmer know his own work better as others.

Note:
We need strong statistics or we can see nothing, the playing strength is to high.

With Komodo all is OK, I can set contempt = 0.
All stats from Komodo are perfect, different stats are clearly better as from Stockfish.
For me is Komodo "HighTech" (not a secret).

OK, questionalbe are the contempt standard settings.
But if the developers are thinking, people have to see again and again the long draws all is OK for me.
So long I can changed that all is wonderful.

And to "Kill" engines:
I am looking for 9 points what is important for me for building my personal favorits.
Sure that others do the same, maybe 3 points, or 15 points ... I don't know.

I like openings so I am looking more on the beginning of the games (4 of the 9 points have to do with it).

Best
Frank

Fact is Andreas ...
The different between you and me is ...

My website produced in more as 20 years over 100 million hits and over 10 millions of downloads.
You should thinking about it before you set the next of such messages in TalkChess.

Everyone must know for themselves whether they want to make a fool of themselves or not.
Hm ... hope this English is correct!
Temperatures are too warm.

But this isn't my problem!

My problem is that it takes a long time to report these posts as off topic.
Fat Titz by Stockfish, the engine with the bodaciously big net. Remember: size matters. If you want to learn more about this engine just google for "Fat Titz".
