I can see the usefulness for the first, but what about the second? I use the cli version, is the GUI similarly unequipped?
The thing is, I have 7-men syzygy in only one computer, the others only have 6-men because of the SSD expense. I'd prefer to stop the games so that they're played with 10 pieces or less, only in the main computer.
Alternatively, I've been trying to find out when the games reach a certain point (number of pieces), but that road seems like a dead end. Norm's tool doesn't seem to work properly, which isn't surprising as it relies on pgn-extract which certainly doesn't. I contacted David via email but he must be on vacation.
cutechess has -maxmoves N but no -maxpieces N adjudication?
