Re: Koivisto
The least "bugged" version is the latest 8.16. We removed MultiPV since that causes performance degradation when using multiple threads. 8.16 should just do fine.Krzysztof Grzelak wrote: ↑Wed Sep 28, 2022 8:56 pm I have such a question and request to the author of the engine Koivisto. What latest version of the engine has no errors and which one would you recommend for testing. I think the newer version is the better.

I understand and thank you for the answer. I downloaded the versions 8.16 from the site https://ipmanchess.yolasite.com/compiles.php I have such a question what does pgo mean in the name of the engine.

pgo means profile-guided-optimization. It usually performs better (about 5-10% faster). This is highly relevant when compiling the engine. You should always chose pgo.Krzysztof Grzelak wrote: ↑Thu Sep 29, 2022 3:15 pm I understand and thank you for the answer.
