Nesterov is a 2575-elo GM, so perhaps this loss is much less noteworthy than the others.
In the Tata Steel Challengers, Niemann lost with the Black pieces against 2380-elo IM Eline Roebers. She won only one other game in the tournament, losing 11 games (and drawing none) to finish last.
Niemann has also been banned from all Saint Louis Chess Club events in 2024. The club cites "demonstrated inappropriate behavior including damaging private property", etc.
