Since the last version, I added a Tuner, and made numerous tests to improve the evaluation. Some worked, but most of all failed. I begin to think that the real improvement now will the Neural thing. Im totally ignorant of that, that's the next big challenge ! Before that, I would like to continue to improve the search; there are some heuristics that I didn't integrate.
I also improved the search, but not that much.

From some matches I did, I estimate Zangdar new elo about 3050.

Unfortunately Zangdar doesn't play! (/ Arena ) It crashes straight away, it displays 0 MB  !

Then avx2 compile should run, definetely.
Please do not use bmi2 compile. Much slower on Ryzen 3rd Gen!
I checked both on my three Ryzen 5th Gen. (5700x, 5600g, 5500), Win10. No probs here with Arena, Banksia and Shredder Classic

Exactly, I use avx2, I always avoid bmi2 if possible.
And strangely, vr 2.19.03 still worked ! :?

Puffin 3.0

Small strength gain, but hopefully fixed a 3-fold bug that was causing more draws than it should have.

New (at least for me) engine Belette by Vincent Bab. Strength: 1700+ (probably somewhere just below 2000).

Hello,

I will look at this problem. I just assumed that all the different compiles worked; It seems I was wrong.
