Diagrams are not working. Neither through the [ fen] [ /fen] tags, nor through the deprecated [ d] tag.

As you can see this worked for me and so I suppose it will work for all
I know those people can still read the site but not write thus I hope they will check this thread for the solution.

Next problem is that instead of a given link it shows a huge pic of the linked site in my signature...
Thanks for all the work in server migration to HGM, Srdja, Ed and whoever is/was involved!
I suggest adding a notification about this to the front page (http://www.talkchess.com/) or the log in screen.
The simple reveals itself after the complex has been exhausted.

I had that problem too, until I restarted my Firefox browser. It seems Firefox is doing some DNS caching.hgm wrote: ↑Fri Mar 01, 2024 9:32 am The talkchess.com domain is still connecting me to CloudFlare, which alternately serves me the message I put up during moving, or a forum stripped of all formatting. I am here now on the www.talkchess.com domain.

Wow, thanks to all who are hard-working for the forums!
I have a trouble when logging but clearing all browser data solved it.

I would not wish for ChessQueen and Chessica to do exactly that. I do not want either of them here. They will keep on polluting and downgrading this forum as well, with their useless posts.

Change https to http

That is expected behavior, cos we use an self-signed SSL/https certificate as interim which you have to accept manually.

Just noticed, some post view counts went off the charts, means some robots do not respect our robots.txt, we intend to allow but limit crawler in future, to be indexed by search engines, will have to observe this further.

Re: New Forum Online - Post Issues Here...
Hello:
THANK YOU VERY MUCH! Not only for save the forum but also for doing it in time! TalkChess was unreachable very few time.
I have also observed that the search engine of the forum is open again and can be used without login. When doing so, I came up with a strange issue: I searched something, worked well, and when I opened some random results, there are some posts whose first lines are duplicated. Example:
Re: Chess engine: Mantissa.
I see the following, both in the PC and in the mobile phone:

There are many more examples in that thread and even in this one of 'post issues here'. Am I the only one? Even when previewing this post, I wrote 'Hello:' once but I see it twice in the preview and later in the definitive post, just like in the example given above. For example, in the previous post by Srdja, I see the following:Hello:
Hello:

But when I click in the reply button, the message is shown flawlessly:Just noticed, some post view counts went off the charts, means some robots do not respect our robots.txt, we intend to allow but limit crawler in future, to be indexed by search engines, will have to observe this further.
