Here's a compile of the latest dev buildJim Ablett wrote: ↑Fri Sep 06, 2024 8:42 pmI'll take a look but my graphics card is not a high enough cuda level. If I can compile it I'll have to release it untested. I don't like to do that.schahmatist wrote: ↑Fri Sep 06, 2024 6:19 pm Hi, Jim! would it be possible to compile the newest Ceres?
https://github.com/dje-dev/Ceres/blob/main/Setup.md
Looks like it was extensively updated since 03/2022 and now it competes in TCEC .
Thank you!

This is untested (I can't run it). You will need an Nvidia graphics card with cuda (at least level 7.0) and you will need to download
and install Nvidia Cuda Toolkit (v11 series) and reboot system after install before running the engine.
Also need to install DotNet SDK 5.0 https://dotnet.microsoft.com/download/dotnet/5.0

Re: New J.A Compiles
Jim, thank you. The good news is that I made it work with a default net. I had to:
1. copy 2 dll-s from Lc0 to the working directory (cublas64_11.dll and cublasLt64_11.dll (just in case copied cudart64_110.dll as well)
2. create ./Network directory and copy there a weights_run2_703810.pb.gz from https://github.com/dje-dev/Ceres/tree/m ... s/Networks.
It works now!
I tried to register a BT3 net there from https://github.com/dje-dev/Ceres/blob/m ... redNets.cs
I was able to register it by editing Ceres.json (https://github.com/dje-dev/Ceres/blob/m ... Ceres.json) in Appdata, but then I got a bunch of weird errors so I stopped here.
But the default net works! Would be nice to be able to use BT nets, if it's just a simple fix.
