Sad to hear that RubiChess is finally ended

On the occasion of the recently passed twentieth anniversary, I am pleased to announce the release of Protej 0.6.7, which improves by approximately 60 Elo points. I would like to thank, as always, those who supported me with various tests, including Graham and Lars.

Additionally, as part of a gradual effort to reconstruct and fully document the project's history on the site, I have retrieved and published the first version along with its source code.

Note: To ensure the proper functioning of the new version, it is necessary to also download the license file (at the bottom of the page).

Earlier this week I released a new chess engine: Euwe

Euwe is a UCI chess engine written in modern C++. It is named after Max Euwe, a Dutch chess player, mathematician, former FIDE president, and the fifth World Chess Champion.

Hello folks,

This release brings a new NNUE thats (768 -> 2048)x2 -> 1
alongside a TON of other changes that bring a lot of elo on top of 0.7.

This release also brings a new naming scheme. Each release has its own name.
Aurora was chosen as it symbolizes an improvement in the engine or a new dawn.

Estimated elo is ~3400 Blitz CCRL

Windows Binary is BMI2.

The binaries are built with Clang (Which may have issues with windows and incbin)
thus its recommended to download the nn.nnue and place it alongside the binary.
Quanticade will exit if it cannot load either nnue builtin or nn.nnue file.
If the engine is playing way below its level please verify the bench and attach the nn.nnue
to the location of the binary.
