Thank you very much for your courtesy and promptness, it is working perfectly in SSE4!

Without wanting to abuse your kindness, do you have access to Cool Iris 19? I have been looking for it for days and have not been able to find it, they say it is a great engine,

You and Jim are enlightened people, congratulations!

you're welcome, Flavio! it's fun to contribute in this computer chess community. Jim has been our go-to person when compiling stuffs. i used to send him some of my mods to compile during the Fruit/Toga days. :)

re Cool Iris 19, i'm not aware of it. i hope some in this forum might know.

Good morning Chris,
Cool Iris 19 was released about 10 days ago, it is frequently used in playchess and tournaments on enginediary, another powerful engine that also came out about 10 days ago and is winning tournaments is TROY 200525, very strong!
It seems to be stronger than the previous one.

Never heard of the engines you just mentioned. Are you sure they are original engines and not SF clones?
At least Obsidian is original engine and Gabe is doing great job in its improvement.

I certainly can't guarantee it, but if they appear on the chessenginediary website participating in tournaments and even winning, I believe they are original.

From what I understand,
1.Troy has to be a stockfish Clone, possibly private or illegal.
2. chesseenginediary is like a yellow press site, not very trustworthy, with the only purpose - rating and attendance.
