Ok, thanks. I will wait for the mail.
BTW I realized there is also no post about a 2023-12 tournament? Was it cancelled too?

Hello Günther:
Regards from Spain.
Ajedrecista.
I also did not find Joost's posts about 2021-12, 2022-05 and 2022-11 tourneys. The same with Müller's posts about 2019-08 and 2019-09 tourneys.
Regards from Spain.

At least 2019-07 - 2019-09 were cancelled. My site was up to date until 2019-10.

It was never announced. Lisebeth who manages these tournaments doesn't always have the opportunity for it, sometimes a month will be skipped.
The months skipped in 2019 when HGM still ran these tournaments were due to hard/software problems.

I received your email Jost, thanks. Well, it requires more detective work than expected ;)Joost Buijs wrote: ↑Fri Oct 04, 2024 6:00 amIt was never announced. Lisebeth who manages these tournaments doesn't always have the opportunity for it, sometimes a month will be skipped.

The tournaments of 20-08 and 20-09 are missing there, but had been played.
Tournament 21-01-16 was filed accidently as 16-01-20.
(Note also that the file date 20-08-10 is the corrected tournament table from 20-07, thus the file name was correct,
but of course I had to check it first).
From what I see now, 24-05, 23-12, 22-11 and 21-12 were skipped.
While reading some of the old tournament reports I wonder myself, why this dangi guy (since ever on my blocked list and blocked by a lot of other programmers too, for several valid reasons), who operates/operated 'Belfish' (with an unmodified SF) just to get #1 rank at anytime is still allowed
to participate, despite his 'behaviour'?
A few times he also played there with 'pontifex' (LC0 and SF) and made unbearable narcisstic comments during the tourney and I thought this was his 'end' there, but surprisingly he appeared later again (some people even stopped playing because of him)?

Pontifex and Tpinefox were indeed an unmodified Stockfish and LC0 run by Daniel Infuehr, I think he calls himself Dangi12012 at this forum.
Belfish is a modified Stockfish run on a very small computer by Wieland Belka who is also the author of 'Eichoernchen'.
When people want to attend to the tournament with modified experimental versions of Stockfish or LCO it's fine, but using unmodified versions of the latest Stockfish/LC0 on a fast computer with the intention to beat all the others is not so nice.
I think the files I sent you all have the correct date in the filename, but it's possible that I somewhere made a mistake.

I confused Belfish in my memory, my bad, sorry.Joost Buijs wrote: ↑Fri Oct 04, 2024 8:23 pm Pontifex and Tpinefox were indeed an unmodified Stockfish and LC0 run by Daniel Infuehr, I think he calls himself Dangi12012 at this forum.

May be I should also add operator names in a list somewhere, if programs were not run by their authors,
or even with obfuscated names.
What I basically wanted to say is that two tournaments were missing from your mailed file, but I found the results at talkchess. (2020-08 and 2020-09)
I think I have figured out all skipped tourneys and the overview is already complete and correct (the tables not inserted yet though)
And thanks for reminding about the changed ratings, that would have been another question :)

Strange, usually these files are stored automatically. I had to copy them from the server to my local machine, maybe I missed these two files, I will take a look at it.
