Exactly, i am thorsten czub alias mclane and was in contact with Wolfgang Delmare since 80ies.
It is said he died.
He participated quite a few championships and was a very nice guy in private life.
Chat and Checkcheck (commercial Software sold via gambit soft and many others) were his „children“.
Wolfgang was also a very good photographer and you can watch his marvellous stunning pictures at this site:

He mainly shot these landscapes with a nikon.
I never saw someone with this sense for beautiful landscapes like Wolfgang Delmare.

We worked together on his chess engine. But it is long time ago.
