So far no version. Looks like Stefan is doing other stuff now.
Hello Thorsten,

I have asked Stefan several times when Shredder14 will be released.
Each time there were delays, then I gave up.
Here is the whole story:

Oct. 2017:
no, there won't be a new Shredder this year. We are planning Shredder 14 for next year.

Best regards
Stefan Meyer-Kahlen

Sep. 2018:
this year it will probably be nothing more with Shredder 14. We are planning a release only next year.

Best regards

Jun. 2019:
I'll be playing with Shredder at the World Cup, of course.
A Shredder 14 is planned for later in the year.

Best regards

Oct.2019:
Hybrid does not mean something between Shredder 13 and 14. The new Shredder uses a neural network, but does not need a fast GPU. This year it will still be tight with the release, honor in the first half of 2020.

Best regards

July 2020:
Shredder 14 will not be released before the end of the year. But it will definitely be very easy to use and install. But we still need some time.

Best regards

March 2021:
We are still working on it...

Best regards

Dec.2022:
Sorry for the renewed delay. But in 2023 it should work out for sure...

Best regards

For me Shredder 14 is dead. Mausetod

Werewolf wrote: Mon Jan 13, 2025 10:46 am If the source code was released it would be possible to convert it to a 64 bit UCI. You could write to Mr. Lang and ask?
i ask him in Santiago why is it only 32bit and if its possible to port it to 64 bit, but he answered that takes to much work to rewrite it for 64 bit.

so i need a tool for old 32 bits EXE files to run that on 64 bit windows, i had got it run with Virtualbox on 32 bit windows, but i want run it on 64 bit.
Stefan Meyer-Kahlen was also in Santiago, right?
Has anyone there heard if there is still a Shredder 14?
Or is the Shredder Project dead?
I've heard it is not dead
Really, where and by whom? :)
