Hi Ingo,

SSE4.2 version was compiled with fast SRWlocks (Vista/Seven) only.
I will compile a version with old locks that is XP-64 compatible.
Will post the build here in about 20 mins ok.

Here's the SSE4.2 build that should work for you > http://dl.dropbox.com/u/5047625/stockfi ... cks-ja.zip

I wonder how many users have that system combination now - Core i7/i5/Phenom II + Win-64 XP-Pro.

Jim.
Doesn't run either - but with a different error.

Regarding the combination: Not many, but I have an 10x XP64 license AND no problem with any SSE engine before! ... but yes, everything comes to an end!

I am waiting a bit more, mabye you find something.

The first SSE version gave a:
"The procedure entry point InitalizeConditionVariable could not be lacated in the dynamic link library Kernel32.dll.

The second one gives this, left to right:

But I doubt that this helps ...

If there is a big problem I can use the "normal" 64bit version, the difference is negligible - ususally.

The speed difference is about 4% between SSE4.2 & Universal.

Problem maybe because I'm compiling for pure Intel i7 and Phenom doesn't like it.
Here is a more AMD compatible build to test, same link as before >

Yep, that has done the trick.

Thx!

I will check the speed difference (if any) between the oldlocks and the "faster" sse version in W7 x64 and an i7. We will see
