I don't think this is needed. I was asking whether there's analyses.log in Arena folder, and when you open that, whether there's output generated from the test. Also, do check if it's something like STS1.epd, STS2.epd... and nothing else in the analyses log file. If not, edit the text and save it.
I am generating my analysis.log file with the "Write in report file" dialog. Should it be generated with the "Write in protocol file" dialog? I'll try this while waiting for your answer.
Report is generally not needed. Main thing I guess would be the analyses.log file. There's this option that overwrites the analyses after each position, so you have to configure in such a way as to append the analyses.
I assume from this answer that i should generate my analysis.log file with the "Write in protocol file" dialog? Anyway, i did another test, generated protocol.log with the "Write in protocol file" dialog, and report.log with the "Write in report file" dialog. Neither file will open with STSStat.exe.
What about the "abort analysis prematurely" option, should it be on or off? If on, what settings? Sorry to be such a pain, but i would like to get this working. I'll send you my protocol.log and report.log to check them out.

I've received the log file. I've got it to work without any making any changes at all.

I wonder if this software is perhaps incompatible with your system, or the system was missing some important upgrade that's required to run this kind of software or something?
Perhaps you could try it in another computer and see if you can get the results without making any changes to protocol.log that you had sent me?
