today, I decided to release ChessMind 0.80. It is my first 'real' engine (I wrote one in C# a year ago when I knew absolutely nothing about chess programming, and it was full of bugs and needed ~3 minutes to reach ply 4 ) and I estimate its current playing strength at about 2050 CCRL Elo respectively 1800 Human Elo. I cannot give precise estimations, though, because the whole development process was based on intuition and trial-and-error instead of careful testing (I am 15 and I simply do not have the resources for that). There were previous public versions of ChessMind but this is the first version with UCI. There is more information available in the readme file, especially about the UCI options.
Have fun with ChessMind!
Hey Luca, it's great to see your release now! Maybe I'll include ChessMind into the test gauntlet for my own new engine which currently seems to have similar strength.
