The source for a 1983 version of Hiarcs will be added very soon. Takes ages to scan and upload.

We are pleased to announce that the first person who can get the 1981 and 1983 versions working as well as receiving free Hiarcs product or upgrade will also recive a brand new NOVAG Citrine!

Many thanks to the mystery man who has donated the Citrine!

So just to clarify. There is a prize for the 1st to get the 81 version working as well as the 1st to get the 83 working. the first to get both working will get the Citrine.

Hi Steve,

Well as you can see, Hilary is a Reti cat  (seen here assisting me with my investigations into the esoterics of Chessmaster Diamond module swapping for power users). Maybe early versions of HIARCS should be playing this machine instead. It's still a huge leap ahead positionally from the earliest Challengers.

I do not understand what happens
if one person is first to get the 81 version working and another person is first to get the 83 version working.

Does it mean that nobody is going to get the Citrine?

Hi Uri,

No. those 2 people will each get a free Hiarcs11.1. If already a customer they will get a free upgrade to the next release. The first person to get both working WILL get the Citrine - it does not have to be one of the same people who are 1st with the individual ones.

I hope that is clear?

Best Wishes,

Harvey

I don't know if I'll win the price but I have no intention to claim the Citrine.
If I win the price, then I'll just ask for two Hiarc licences :
1) the current PC version
2) the Pocket PC version when it is ready
And I'll offer the Citrine to Hiarc's team to excuse myself for my misbehavior when I said the R30/Hiarcs challenge made be by a chess program which was not Hiarcs.

But I have first to win the price regards,

Alain
