Hi,

could you talk a little about Greko?, what kind engine is? tactical? (Greko was a famous chess player and create great combinativos games) so I would assume that for that reason the program is called greko... right?

the program is called 'gre-at ko-mbinator' after the character of famous book of ilf and petrov '12 chairs' ostap bender.

Yes, the program was named after both Joacino Greco and Ostap Bender.
As to the second question... I think GreKo is too weak to have it's own style

Against 2000 engine it can we wildly tactical, and against 2700 engine - passive and "positional" in the worst meaning of this term.

Thanks for the explanation, it seems an funny program!! I´m going to download it and run some test against Tao and Quark, maybe vs Fritz 2 too and I hope have a lot of fun, thanks for the programm

Both UCI and WB. Detects protocol automagically.
How to config hash size in WB mode:
command line
greko.exe -hash 128
will give 128 Mb for total hash.
