The top engine is likely to be promoted into Division 5 for the following season. The second top engine will play a ten game match against the eleventh placed engine in Division 5 to determine whether it remains in Division 6 or gets promoted.
The bottom engine is likely to be relegated into Division 7 for the following season. The second bottom engine will play a ten game match against the second placed engine in Division 7 to determine whether it remains in Division 6 or gets relegated.
