i think its STILL a three way tie
this is true ONLY if you have really withdrawn your vote
could allll be up to you Ray
you might be the deciding vote

Heavy Pressure Regards
Steve
:P
No - that's counting Ray's vote. If he insists on withdrawing, it's a tie between a5 and g6.
RIGHT
i posted that correction one minute after you
so its tied a5 g6
AND with RAY YET TO VOTE

15... a5 16. Rfd1 Qe7 17. b4

15...a5 16.Rfd1 Qc7 should be considered prioritary.

I doubt it will play Rfd1 if we play a5. I could be wrong but I do doubt it highly. If (and it is a big if) we got Rfd1 then a4 straight away.

Most likely is that we get Bc5 however.

So no Bd3 no Rfd1, why are we having so much trouble against this patzer?

So Qc7 is no good. It seems Rfd1 is a very strong move Graham.
Maybe 15...a5 16. Rfd1 g6 now.

Another move instead of a5, g6, or Be4 could be d6.

Best,
Gerold.
I think Zach meant e5 and d6. d5 just runs into Bc5
Yes, that is what I meant.

If nobody else votes for e5 though I will go with a5.

15......a5; 16.Rfd1, a4; 17.Bc5 could still be troublesome if you look further at it.

I like your idea but maybe play first d6 to discourage this Bc5 move that seems to give us problems.

Also, Steve, would it be too much trouble to edit the original post with the current position after each move? As each move is taking up at least a few pages for voting, it's sometimes a pain to have to wade through it all.
