What depth does SF typically reach in 3sec with 1 thread on your computer?

Would be interesting to repeat this giving SF 30sec.

You can use a tool named "ChessGameReport.exe".
It analyzes the move played in the game and compute the eval difference with the best move.
Then it evaluate the level of the player, very interesting !

I know this software, but have not tried it anymore because sometimes it will crash on my system. I am not sure if this was still developed.

Re: US champ 2015 and SF6 move matches

Post by Ferdy »

Here it is with settable hash, threads, time and top players range. You need to rename your engine to sf6.exe. It will output 2 files, match_summary.txt (append mode) to preserved data when running different condition and engines, and match_log.txt (overwrite mode).

From console, just a quick 50ms sample.

Code: Select all

Enter Hash size in MB? 128
Enter Number Threads? 1
Enter movetime in ms? 50
Enter number of top players to evaluate (1 to 12)? 12
