Auto Register a folder of engines?

Post by JohnW »

For both Fritz and Arena gui's you have to register engines one at a time by selecting the engine.exe and the gui creates a engine.uci file. If you set either Fritz or Arena up on another PC you have to do this all again for each engine which is a giant PITA. Does anyone know if there is a way to auto-register a folder full of engine.uci files instead of registering each *.exe one at a time? Thank you..

From Arena:
Engines menu
Manage engines
Details tab
Installation Wizard button

Easy done from CA products also, so I would be surprised if ChessBase does not allow bulk loading of engines.
