Capa Chess 1.0 beta 1 by Enrico Benedetti

Post by Norbert Raimund Leisner »

Hello,

after 11(!) years -since v0.1 beta 2 with insufficient WinBoard-support-
a new release is available by its author:

https://sourceforge.net/projects/capa/f ... 1.0.beta1/

v1.0 beta 1 jar-application can be installed completely- but under Windows 7 32-bit crashes the engine with Arena-GUI just after a few moves respectively the batch-file "runengine" exited unexpectedly (WinBoard 4.8.0-Interface) and CECP-protocol. UCI was not tested, but seems to have the same behaviour.

Any other suggestions to run Capa Chess v1.0 beta 1 normally .....?

Best wishes,
Norbert
