SGS and EAS-tools updated

Post by pohl4711 »

The Sacrifice Games Search Tool and the Engines Aggressivenes Statistics Tools were updated to V2.5. (2022/07/07) Please re-download them. The tools filter-grain for sacs was improved (around +30% more sac-games are found) and the scoring-system of the EAS-tools were improved, based on new statistical analysis of some huge databases.

New update today to V2.6... no change in functionality, but Thomas Plaschke made an incredible fast new compile of pgn-extract (pgn-extract by D.Barnes is used for 95% of all operations in my tools). So, my tools are now +30% faster!!! Incredible speedup!

Please re-download the tools:

New update to V2.8... But there is a lot new, so a re-download is recommended. Sorry, for the quick releases in a row. I hope, this versions will stay "up to date"- for a while.

Whats new?

EAS-tools now recognizes and separate Queen-sacs worth 5 pawns or more from other 5+ pawnunits-sacrifices.

EAS-scoring system was complete rewritten and uses a higher "resolution" (100*percent values instead of 10*percent values). Additionally higher bonus-points for Queen-sacrifices were added. Some minor bugfixes.

All_Engines_Aggressiveness_Stats-tool (for building an EAS-ratinglist) was optimized and is running +20% faster.

SGS-tool recognizes Queen-sacrifices (and writing them in a seperate file), too (like EAS-tools do). And it is running +10% faster, if search-option 0 is chosen. Some minor bugfixes.
