It seems to be probably a shorter mate because earlier 10.Ke2 or 10.Kd2 instead of 10.Kf2 is mate in 15
not sure if 9...Kc6 is best (and for exmple 9...Ke6 may lose one move slower)

mate in at most 25 unless black has improvement in one of the first 4 moves.

After 12.- Kf3, Shredder online EGTB say that 12.- ..., Ka7 is suboptimal (-#12) instead of king to b6, c6 or c8 (all of them -#13). Again, 14.- Nd4 is suboptimal (+#12) instead of Kd5 (+#11).

Hi Jesus!
Already after 9.Bxa8 it's #16, here's best line Nalimovs give from there onwards :

rnbqkb1r/8/8/8/8/8/8/RNBQKBNR w KQkq -

1. Qxd8+ Kxd8 2. Rxh8 Rxa1 3. Rxf8+ Kc7 4. Bf4+ Kb6 5. Bd3
Bb7 6. Rxb8 Ra8 7. Rxb7+ Kxb7 8. Be4+ Ka7 9. Bxa8 Kxa8

10. Na3 Ka7 11. Ke2 Kb7 12. Nf3 Kb6 13. Ke3 Kc6 14. Ke4 Kc5
15. Nd4 Kb4 16. Nab5 Kc4 17. Bd2 Kc5 18. Ba5 Kc4 19. Bb6
Kb4 20. Kd3 Ka4 21. Kc2 Kb4 22. Nc3 Kc4 23. Ndb5 Kb4
24. Nd6 Ka3 25. Bc5#

I didn't check output- line of Huntsman's at starting position till very end, that there always can be suboptimal moves from both sides after 10 moves in output doesn't prove DTM wrong as such. Huntsman is very rarely wrong giving too short lines, too long ones occure much more often just because of lack of hardware- time, regards
Peter.
