I have the same problem,I tried to get it work as a winboard engine,I tried to use the WB2UCI adapter,no luck till now....it was working perfectly under the XP 32 bit :?

Vista has an option to run a program under a (simulated) older OS. Did you try that?
I don't have an English Vista here but I think you have to go to 'configuration screen' and then to 'programs' for this option.

You might ask the question on the Chess Thinkers Forum for Rebels, on the Hiarcs Forums site. The chess thinkers subforum is lead by the Rebel12 author, Ed Shroeder. Although that subforum is not meant for engine discussions as such, Ed just might look into the question and provide an answer. BTW you first have to open an account, but that is easy.

Here is the link: http://www.hiarcs.net/forums/index.php

Good luck,
