Has anyone done some preliminary testing?
I am curious how it compares to the new King of the Hill, Houdini 1.5.
Thanks

Re: Stockfish 2.0: How much stronger?
Results look good, but way too few games to draw conclusions:
Places it somewhere between Rybka and Houdini.

Looking good for Stockfish 2.0, based on a very limited data set (70 games).
I would love to see another engine surpass the "unsupported" Rybka 4.0.

Re: Stockfish 2.0: How much stronger?
My general opinion is that engine authors should leave Elo estimates, test results, etc. to independent testers, and not publish their own results. However, like a few times before, I'll make an exception for the iOS version of Stockfish, for which it is almost impossible to find independent test results.
I just finished a 16-game test match between Stockfish 2.0 and Hiarcs 12.2 for iOS. In the first half of the match, Stockfish was playing on an iPad and Hiarcs on an iPhone 4; in the second half, the hardware was reversed. The iPad is exactly 25% faster than the iPhone.
The result was 10-6 (+7,-3,=6) in favor of Stockfish, despite a few dubious book lines. Of course a much bigger number of games would be necessary in order to make any firm conclusions, but it is at least not entirely impossible that the new Stockfish will be the strongest iOS chess program when it gets available on the App store, at least when running on the latest generation of devices.
