Never seen in CEGT-CCRL-IPON & so on.........

Post by Sylwy »

Hi CCC friends !

Both my JAVA WB TOURNAMENT & JAVA UCI TOURNAMENT are on way !
Below are captures from each one and a superb game : ArabianKnight 1.51 versus King's Out 0.2.42.
In the WB tournament I use only the original .jar Java executables of each engine. The results will be posted here on Monday !
In the UCI tournament I use Windows executables (two [from a total of three] are original Windows compiles of the authors ; six are compiles of Maestro Jim Ablett). The owner of the results is Maestro Jim. This tournament ( a long one) will be ready in February.
The first five places in each tournaments (WB & UCI) will participate in this spring to the SUPREME JAVA TOURNAMENT.
I use the best engines from each series ( for example Bagatur 1.2c and not 1.2d ).
I have seen superb games between chess engines programmed in Java !!!
In this summer will be another nice tournament :PYTHON TOURNAMENT with SIX participants ( big surprises for everybody here) !!!!!!

Have - YOU ALL - a super - supra - ultra :lol: nice weekend !

SilvianR :wink:

Never seen in CCRL, but will be in the next few months.

I will be interested in your Python tournament. I have not included any yet in my testing.

Thanks for your tournament (and your spirit :wink: )

Hi Maestro Werner !

THANK YOU A LOT ! THE SAME FOR ALL CEGT TESTERS !

They are 25 workable chess engines programmed in Java ( on Earth , at this date :lol:):

a-7 pure UCI;
b-1 WB/UCI (Eden)
----------------------------------------------------------------------
All this above engines are participants in my JAVA UCI TOURNAMENT - 4'+2"

c-17 pure WB chess engines. Some are extremely weak (1000-1500 ELO under ChessWar- of Mr. Olivier Deville- conditions). Some are also buggy ( Luzhin , Cheoss....)!
My JAVA WB TOURNAMENTS has only six participants:
-OliThink (5.3.0 Java version);
-Alf;
-ArabianKnight;
-BremboCE;
-Frank-Walter;
-King's Out.

All are over 1600 ELO under ChessWar conditions( in fact only BremboCE , all the rest are over 1800 ELO). The results of this tournament will be posted here on Monday !
The first five from each league (WB & UCI) will participate in my SUPREME JAVA TOURNAMENTS. Pure Java , no C , C++ , C#, Basic , Pascal-Delphi......'impurities' :lol: :lol: :lol: !

Have a nice day !

Thank you Ruxy, and I am fairly sure I have used up my luck. I went to bed with a brand new 64bit dual core system, and when I woke up, it had transformed itself from a 64bit dual to a 64bit quad. I would imagine that used up all my luck.

Congratulations Maestro George !!!!!!

To make you a bit envious on SilvianR : in the autumn will be my anniversary of many decades of riotously life. It's a big secret , but.....if I'll be a good boy ( extremely hard for me :lol: ) , Frau Ruxy and the whole globalised family , planning for an octal with Win 7 on 64 bit !
Nice ? :lol:

Have a nice weekend Maestro George !
