Fun game with an old engine

Post by zd3nik »

I dug up my first ever chess engine and played a quick game on it's highest level (7-ply search, SEE evaluation, no quiescence search - see https://github.com/zd3nik/CACIO).

It was interesting to see how differently various other engines evaluated this game. Lots of positional and tactical elements throughout. I'd really like to know how Junior analyzes this game, but I don't have a copy.

On move 27 I actually played Bd2, got into a drawn end-game, and lost because I tried to win the draw.
