Looking for tuning file

Post by Carbec »

hi,

Im looking for this file : lichess.big3.resolved . It seems used by several engines for tuning.
Can I just use it like that ? Or do I need first to call quiescence in my engine ?

Thanks

No need for QS, that's what "resolved" stands for. Sent you a download link via PM. :)

I got it from a link on https://github.com/analog-hors/tantabus that pointed to https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/ ... esolved.7z , but the latter link has expired. Not sure how it was created, unfortunately. But it does seem to work a bit better than the Zurichess quiet set, at least for me.

The WayBack Machine does an excellent job once again. It has saved two copies from 17th March, 2023 and 12th December, 2023 that seem to be identical (94.76 MB of size (99,363,607 bytes)). Direct download links (one is enough, the other is an exact copy from other date):

https://web.archive.org/web/20230317131 ... esolved.7z

https://web.archive.org/web/20231212035 ... esolved.7z

The unzipped size is almost 400 MB of size. The download only contains a file called lichess-big3-resolved.book, so there is not Readme file.

Regards from Spain.
