How to use syzygy tables from RAM?
Gain from slow SSD is very minimal if any. Windows 11 used.

The tables are automatically cached to the page cache in RAM.

Copying them to a RAM disk is a bad idea as it just wastes memory that could be used for the page cache.

There is new endgame book https://github.com/official-stockfish/b ... 05.epd.zip . I don't know how it is done, but using this gives nice tablebase gains! With 10+0.1 level I got +10 Stockfish +15 Reckless and +30 to Plentychess. 6 pieces from SSD.
