ProTools 1.9

Post by Rebel »

Some minor improvements plus two new PGN tools.

1. Opening book anticipation, overview how well (or bad) an engine responds on the first 8 moves after the opening book or predefined move sequence.

2. Fast blunder check games - See Example and documentation. Blunder check a large PGN with a Stockfish version of your choice overnight. Depending on your chosen time control you can do hundreds of games in one run.

90% of coding is debugging, the other 10% is writing bugs.

Hi. Thanks for sharing. Can this calculate Elo rating information (rating performance or rating change)? Cheers

Okay, understand now.

The PGN cross reference tool in ProTools is one of the oldest functies in ProTools. It was written for the purpose of handling large computer-computer PGN's with engines (players) having thousands or tens of thousands games played. As the then existing cross reference software could not handle such massive PGN's. I did not saw the need for elo calculation.

And so I think you are better off with the software you are using now looking at your example.
90% of coding is debugging, the other 10% is writing bugs.
