I'm here to announce a brand-new annual championship in April or May since this year. It may have the best hardware condition ever in computer chess history. It will run on a cloud calculation platform in a university lab(About 2000 Cores, 16 V100 GPUs, The storage capacity reaches 400TB!!!) Due to its high running cost, the event will be held once a year.
Initially I plan to have a 8 top engines tournament, but considering it's a great oppoturnity to discover the supreme wisdom of chess, I change my idea to run a 16 top engines race in first season (one of them is my own programmed private engine that has never provided to others, and I will test its strength via this event). So any top engine authors want to participate this new championship, send me your engine's name and the exe file(best is avx2) that can directly run on GUI on Talkchess forum Private Message or my email (The deadline of submitting is April 10th).
Event format(quite like FRC in TCEC): The participating engines will be randomly divided into 4 Groups and play a number of round robins(10min+5sec). The top 2 engines in each group advance to the two groups of Semileagues(20min+5sec). The top 2 engines in each Semileague advance to the Final League(30min+10sec). The top 2 engines of the Final League advance to the Final(1h+10sec).
Though it's a private event, I will post the process of this tournament regularly and send some of the great games I've thought on this topic page.
Wish everyone would enjoy this great competition. Hope you can enjoy.
A new Championship

Re: A new Championship
Tarnished wins the Group A tiebreaks and enters into semifinal.
As Integral can't run on PC, so I selected Koivisto, an engine gradually fading out of people's sight, to be substitution.
As the game results, it seems like the development of chess engines is rapid in recent years.(Koivisto is completely smashed)
