only 113 voters as i write

seems low to me George

probably due to it being the last week of August and 3/4 of all Europeans and 1/2 of all Americans are on vacation

the number of voters historically has been about 300 ish so hopefully we will see many more members vote before its too late

Low number of votes, and 8 candidates...

True, it's vacation-time for many, but there's still some days left till the voting ends.

Btw Steve, why should it remain a secret how many dedicates units you have? And the same for the number Mark may, or may not have... If you don't want it out in public, you can sent me an PM ;)

another day passes and only 16 more voters managed to stumble into the voting booth
at this point there are more candidates then voters
sigh..

something tells me this vote should have been held off until September when everyone has returned from Holiday

i would rather LOSE the election with 500 members voting..then win it with 175 voting

and that is the truth

Where should 500 voters come from Steve?
After some cleaning up(a while ago) the list now only has 900+ listed
and even those should be divided by 1,5 -2, what can be verified easily
looking for posters with still zero posts and still fake names.
I guess we have not more than perhaps 500 real members, who also
post sometimes. Thus 500 voters would be an expectation of 100%
participation ;-)

well i was only saying i would prefer 500 voters...by way of example

historically though there has been about 300 voters in each election in the past
the old forum used to contain a link to all of the prior elections
showing the candidates ..vote totals ..numbers of voters ..etc etc
which i thought was great for full disclosure and to show a sense of history

hopefully we will hit 300 or so
but as the weekend approaches i fear we are getting close to less and less new voters

Best
Steve

Well, I am sure the number of voters will start to rise again from Friday on.
I agree though that we will probably have a few less voters than
in the past due to holidays time.
BTW is there still any archive active, which contains the old election
results? Didn't find one at once, but I did not try hard.

Cheers,
Guenther
