What is the latest (best?) version of Grapefruit?
Is it Grapefruit 1.0 beta.exe, 190KB, 30/11/2008 15:21, coming from SourceForge.net's Grapefruit_1.0_beta.zip ?
But this UCI version doesn't work: it cannot be installed in ChessBase GUI or Shredder GUI. And if you double-click on Grapefruit 1.0 beta.exe, it fails (on egbbdll.dll, the 32-bit egbbdll) during the loading of the egbbs:
Grapefruit 1.0 beta based on Toga II 1.4 beta5c.
EgbbProbe 3.1 by Daniel Shawul
Cache Size = 3 Mb (404 entries)
Loading egbbs....
Strange, this does not happen with Grapefruit 1.0 Alpha 3, date 03/11/2008

Thanks, Dr.!Dr.Wael Deeb wrote:http://file023.mylivepage.com/chunk23/4 ... urpose.zip
Both included versions, GrapeFruit1beta.exe and GrapeFruit1beta-allpurpose.exe work and don't show the egbb bug I mentioned.
Do you have a reference (Forum?) where these versions are presented (and what was the egbb bug I mentioned)?
What is the difference between GrapeFruit1beta.exe and GrapeFruit1beta-allpurpose.exe?
