Look at the number of games played. 66 el chinito, 99 crafty. Also they are even few.

Anyway, lars confirmed it was el chinito.

chinito has a much better evaluation function.

search was different, evaluation different too,..... only take back, take forward, in/out routines and save games are close to crafty.
What seems like a fairy tale today may be reality tomorrow.
Here we have a fairy tale of the day after tomorrow....

Ah yes you're right...I missed seeing number of games played by both the engines... Chinito seems better than 22.10 crafty but my point still remains Crafty 23 is certainly vastly improved.

and crafty has a more honest author.

BTW older crafty was sometimes blind about center control. I have not seen play newer crafty but with bob mobility evaluation change he explained it has the potential to be much better in that. Amyan has always evaluated moblity depending on each square.
