Links to Robbo are forbidden. I have the same opinion as you, there is no evidence it is a clone, so this censorship is wrong.

I am just confused that links to a "commercial version" of Robbo are allowed.

And call it donation or whatever, if I can get the Robbo - Engine only for money it's a commercial version.

I would like to have it as well, but I won't pay for it.

BTW, ScidPocket is quite instable for me. It crashes and stays in the memory very often. For example if you run an engine and open the PGN window.

Scidlet don't work in single engine mode, only in engine tournaments.

We are currently reviewing our position on linkage to Robbo which includes your port link
the issue is that not all mods are around due to the fact that it is the Xmas holiday

for now we are locking this thread(rather then removing it) until we can get a consensus amongst the mods

After the passage of two+ months in time with no concrete evidence being supplied regarding the illegality of Ippolit/Robbo..
we have decided ..after careful review and consideration ..to now allow links to the engines
should evidence be supplied in the future we (or future mod teams) will of course review the linkage situation

Shouldn't be a problem
links to any sites containing pirated engines will be deleted as usual
if i have learned anything being a mod here for over one year its this ..
