Miguel,
I am looking at a position in infinite analysis. For some iterations, gaviota reports +0.00, other iterations, the score is reported as -0.00. What is the difference?

Re: Gaviota Eval Question
The eval is rounded, so maybe in one case is actually +0.001 and the other -0.002. After rounding, the number is zero but it kept the sign.mhalstern wrote:Miguel,

Thanks,
You always reply to posts about gaviota quickly. Do you get some kind of notification when the word "gaviota" appears in a talkchess thread, or are your bored like me and look at the forums all day?

It depends how busy I am. The busier, the more I check CCC. Yeah, when my time is chopped in a thousands pieces, with boring meetings and that, I check CCC in between, 2 or 3 times a day. When I train people in the lab or I do experiments, I may not touch the computer in a couple of days.
