I cannot understand why, but these setting are able to win some beautifully tactical games against Stockfish! My Dissident Aggressor settings really do appear to be Tal on Angel Dust! WOW!
It seems that with some tweaks this could be a top engine ? Few others can blow Stockfish off the board like this, yet in certain positions it does and it's always with a brilliant attack! I have to stress it often loses badly , but it is always a crazy attacking game. This personality was created to crush me and other humans. This is more than I could have hoped for! Here is another beatiful win :

Re: Zappa Mexico II Dissident Aggressor!
Have you tried any slower games using your customizations to Zappa? I'd be curious how it fares at, say, 40 moves in 15 minutes.

Soon! But again this is for human games only, I am using stockfish just as a tuning partner. I am just shocked at the results ( some brilliant wins) so I thought I'd share the games.

I thought this forum was about sharing, but you will not share your zappa settings. Why is that ? karger

of course i realize that, the style reminds me of my crazy junior personality but if it's capable of defeating stockfish it must be stronger...i estimated my junior personality @ ~2600 elo which is more than enough strength for a wild personality -- but it would be especially cool to have a tal personality of tal strength!Robert Flesher wrote:yanquis1972 wrote:would you care to share the settings??

Remember stockfish still wins the vast majority. It all about style
My changes are very simple, yet they seem to change the engine in a attacking monster! Still testing!
